Borage Infusion
I have been planting borage as a companion to my strawberries for years. They share a special relationship that helps strawberries produce more. The little blue star shaped flowers are quite delicious on their own. If you've ever tried them, you'd probably agree that they taste like cucumber. I put them in my salads, make ice cubes with them and more recently, I've been drying them to use them in the off season as tea to help with lactation. They're also anti-inflammatory and great for giving the immune system a boost during the fall and winter months when we are indoors more often and a little less active and sweating. Borage is super mineral rich and loaded with vitamins and phytonutrients. These little flowers really lend themselves well to apple cider vinegar. A tasty medicinal combination to be taken a dropperfull at a time or on salads or in cocktails.
